Thank You for Voting – And a Friendly Reminder
As we head into the final few days of the election, I want to start with a simple message: thank you.
To everyone who has already voted—whether you voted for me or not—I truly appreciate you taking the time to read, reflect, and return your ballot. Your participation is what gives this community a real voice. Elections only mean something when property owners are engaged, and many of you have already shown that you care about Big Canoe’s future.
If you have not voted yet, there is still time. ⏰
Ballots must be received by Mauldin & Jenkins no later than 5:00 pm EST on Wednesday, December 3. You can still vote by email or fax, using the instructions that came with your election materials. It only takes a few minutes, but it matters a great deal.
Big Canoe works best when decisions reflect the views of a broad cross-section of property owners—not just a small percentage. High voter turnout sends a clear message:
- 👀 Owners are paying attention
- 💬 Owners want to be part of the conversation
- 🏡 Owners care how this community is managed today and for years to come
If your ballot is still sitting on the counter or in your inbox, this is a friendly nudge:
please take a moment, fill it out, and send it in by email or fax before the deadline. 📧📠
🤝 I’m Here for Questions
I also want you to know that I’m available to answer any questions you may have—about my platform, how I approach decisions, or where I stand on specific issues.
If something isn’t clear, or you just want to talk through a concern, please reach out:
- 📖 You can find my contact information in the Big Canoe directory
- 🌐 You can also get in touch through my campaign website
I’m happy to listen, to explain how I’m thinking about things, and to learn from your perspective. That’s the kind of Board member I hope to be: accessible, transparent, and focused on what’s best for the community as a whole.
📅 Annual Meeting at the Chapel
Please also remember that the Annual Meeting will be held at the Chapel at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 6.
At this meeting:
- 🏆 The election winners will be announced
- 📊 The POA will share many important updates about our community
Even if you’re not usually a “meeting person,” this is a good one to attend—both to hear the results and to stay informed about what’s happening in Big Canoe.
Thank you again to everyone who has already voted, and thank you in advance to those who will take a few minutes between now and 5:00 pm on Wednesday, December 3 to send in their ballot.
🗳️ Your voice matters. Your vote matters.
And I’m grateful to be part of this community with you.
