Protecting What We Love About Big Canoe. Tackling the Issues That Matter. Together.
Big Canoe is our forever home. From the moment we arrived, we were drawn to the natural beauty, abundant wildlife, and the peaceful sense of community. I’m running for the Board of Directors to help preserve what makes Big Canoe special—and to work with integrity and focus to address the issues that matter most to property owners.

Why I’m Running for the POA Board
Big Canoe has given Kimberly and me a true sense of home—from the inherent beauty to the peace and privacy, and most of all, the people who make this community so special.
I recently retired after a 40+ year career, including 10 years as an Army officer and helicopter pilot, followed by 25 years with Siemens in the process industries. My work was centered on solving tough problems, building trust, and delivering results. I was proud to be recognized as a top performer—but even more proud of the teams I led and the people I mentored.
Now, I want to use that experience to give back. I’m running for the POA Board because I care deeply about protecting what makes Big Canoe unique—and helping guide us through the opportunities and challenges ahead.
My approach is steady, transparent, and always focused on what’s best for the community as a whole. I listen closely, ask tough questions when needed, and believe good governance means putting people before politics.
